What's it all about?

This unit teaches 6th-8th grade students to make predictions and connections, as well as identifying connections. They will write a persuasive essay and create a poster on a book selection playing the role of a Wilson Library book buyer convincing the other buyers to approve the book they have chosen. They will present their poster during a presentation to the other buyers.
